This wireless doorbell is battery operated at both receiver and pushbutton doorbell . The pushbutton doorbell is a snap to install  -  Simply use the double side tape to align and then use screws to secure the transmitter to the wall or door !

The transmitter has one  common 12 Volt battery found at many drug stores. The receiver has  may be plugged into any 115 - 120 volt outlet. The batteries with normal use of 20 times per day should last about a year.

 This chime has a range of up to 100  feet ( line of sight )  with a realistically tested 100 feet transmission.
