This new model , THE DWA -8 DRIVEWAY
OBSERVER (TM) will consist of two components. A transmitter
and a receiver.
This is the chime of choice for ANY drive up
or drive-thru application. Use at banks , liquor stores ,
drycleaners , convenience stores ,coffee shops or any other
drive thru .

The transmitter :
The outdoor weather
proof transmitter that can be mounted either overhead or to
the side . It is powered by a nine volt battery , installed
for your convenience and lasting about one year. There are
six dipswitches on the inside of the rear cover the will
assign ID Codes by using the first four and the last two
will notify you by one of four zones that have been
activated by an audible tone. There is also an antennae that
can rotate 360 ° for optimal transmission to the volume
controlled receiver up to a realistic 1000 feet away ( the
Driveway Observer ™ has been tested at 1800 feet in
laboratory conditions ; we feel that 1000 - 1500 feet is a
closer approximation to what will be realistically
achieved). The transmitter will operate at 430 MHZ AM. The
beam projection is set at 50 feet and 2 feet square.
THE RECEIVER:
The receiver will have
a plug-in 12 volt power supply with a 6 foot cord. It may be
placed on a tabletop or attached to a wall using the
mounting holes on the rear of the DWA-8 receiver. There are
also four volume controlled tones to identify each zone.
Additionally there is an electronic LED Counter to allow for
a vehicle count with this driveway alarm. Should you wish to
use any accessories as our strobe , siren , or 12 volt loud
bell this may be accomplished by using the 12 volt relay on
the rear of the driveway alarm receiver with a timed output
of 1 or 5 seconds. For optimal reception the antennae will
swivel 360 °.
The customer may use
additional transmitters and receivers ,if they wish.
Options listed below.
SIREN
The 12 volt DC siren can be plugged into
the dialer and will sound when activated. The siren is
designed for exterior us and could be used to scare off an
intruder. 120 DB
LOUD RINGING BELL
This 6" bell can be used with any of the
driveway alarms. It can be used outside or inside for people
with hearing problems. When used in conjunction with the
light/timer control it may be programmed to ring up to one
hour.

STROBE |

| This
strobe can be used for the hearing impaired as well
for use in noisy environments. The amber color is
best suited for this purpose. The strobe has a flash
rate of 90 flashes per minute.
